Podcher’e

 

a river in the Komi ASSR, a right tributary of the Pechora. It is 178 km long and drains an area of 2,710 sq km. It originates on the western slope of the Northern Urals and is fed by snow and rain. The river freezes in early November, and the ice breaks up in May.
