Location:In 2 areas, Pittsburg and Hermitage, that are 8 miles apart; both are south of US 54 in Hickory County.
Facilities:41 basic campsites, 193 electric campsites, 20 electric/water campsites, showers, special use area, picnic sites, picnic shelter, hiking trails, 2 public swimming beaches, fishing pier, marina, store, boat ramp, boat rentals.
Activities:Camping, boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, nature programs (in summer).
Special Features:Park lies along the banks of the 7,800-acre Pomme de Terre Reservoir and includes remnants of a pre-settlement savanna landscape dotted with stunted old-growth oak trees and native grasses.
