Poronin

 

a health resort in Poland, in Nowy Sacz Wojewódz-two, in the foothills of the Carpathians, near Zakopane. In the summers of 1913 and 1914, V. I. Lenin lived near Poronin in Bialy Dunajec. Poronin was the site of the Poronin 1913 Meeting of the Central Committee of the RSDLP with Party Officials. The V. I. Lenin Museum is located in the house where the meeting took place.
