Pribory i Tekhnika Eksperimenta

 

(Instruments and Experimental Techniques), a scientific journal of the section of physicotechnical and mathematical sciences of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. Published in Moscow since 1956, the journal consists of six issues a year.

Pribory i tekhnika eksperimenta publishes reviews, original articles, and comments on instruments, as well as information on new instruments and materials and on technical procedures with practical applications in physics laboratories. The editor in chief since 1956 has been A. I. Shal’nikov, a corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. Circulation, 5,100 copies (1974). Since 1956 an English translation has been published in the USA.
