Proletarskii

 

an urban-type settlement in Rakitnoe Raion, Belgorod Oblast, RSFSR. Railroad junction (Gotnia) at the intersection of the Belgorod-Sumy and L’gov-Kharkov lines. Proletarskii has a meat-packing plant, a butter factory, a brickyard, and enterprises for railroad transport.


Proletarskii

 

an urban-type settlement in Serpukhov Raion, Moscow Oblast, RSFSR. Proletarskii is situated on the Nara River, a tributary of the Oka, 6 km from the Sharapova Okhota railroad station on the Moscow-Tula line and 20 km from Serpukhov. It has a mill for producing fine textiles; a plant for the production of asphalt concrete is under construction (1975).
