Pure Metal

 

a metal with a low admixture content. Depending on the degree of purity, the following types of pure metals are distinguished: high-purity metals (99.90–99.99 percent pure); superpurity, or chemically pure, metals (99.99–99.999 percent pure); and ultrapure metals (more than 99.999 percent pure).
