Quartered veneer

A veneer in which a log is sliced or sawed to bring out a certain pattern of the grain.

Light colored woods are cut, dyed and reformed into flitches before being resliced into sheets that approximate flat cut or quartered veneer. This produces a consistent, custom colored and grained wood veneer.
