In western end of Long Island, east of Brooklyn; original county, organized Nov 1, 1683. The county is coterminous with the borough of Queens, part of New York City. Includes the following areas; Astoria, Bay Ridge, Flushing, Forest Hills, Howard Beach, Jackson Heights, and Ozone Park.
