Rajahmundry
a city in India, in the state of Andhra-Pra-desh; situated on the Godavari River, near a railroad and highway bridge. Population, 189,000 (1971). A transportation junction, Rajahmundry has textile, paper, and food-processing enterprises. Graphite crucibles are produced from graphite mined nearby.
