Rapid Start Technology

Intel's support for fast booting from sleep mode on computers with solid state drives (SSDs). When the computer is placed in sleep mode, Rapid Start Technology transfers the contents of RAM to the SSD. Upon resuming, the SSD data are transferred back into RAM. See Rapid BIOS Boot.
