Razvedka i Okhrana Nedr

 

(Prospecting and Protection of Mineral Resources), a monthly scientific-technical journal of the Ministry of Geology of the USSR and the Central Committee of the Trade Union of Workers of Geological-prospecting Projects. Razvedka i okhrana nedr was founded in Moscow in 1931 as Razvedka nedr (Prospecting of Mineral Resources), a name it retained until 1953. The journal deals with the geology of deposits of useful minerals, methods and techniques of prospecting for mineral deposits, comprehensive study of mineral raw materials, and the economics of geological prospecting. Circulation, 9,400 (1974).
