ReiserFS

(REISER File System) A journaling file system for Linux that has been used in several distributions, including SUSE Linux Enterprise prior to 2006. Created by Hans Reiser of California-based Namesys, ReiserFS was superseded by Reiser4. Namesys went out of business when Reiser was convicted of murdering his wife Nina in 2007. A year later, Reiser led the police to Nina's body which he buried in the Oakland hills. See file system and journaling file system.
