Butkus, (Richard Marvin) Dick

(1942–  ) football player; born in Chicago. An aggressive, 245-pound linebacker, he was chosen All-America at the University of Illinois (1963–64) and All-NFL (National Football League) seven times in nine years with the Chicago Bears (1965–73).
