Size: 800 acres.
Location:Riverside Drive from 7th Street to 81st Street. Linear park lies along both sides of the Arkansas River from downtown Tulsa to the south end of the city.
Facilities:Picnic areas, concessions, boat ramp, 20 miles of multi-use paved asphalt trails, amphitheater, nature conservatory, playgrounds, sports areas.
Activities:Rowing, kayaking, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, bicycling, disc golf, rugby, bird-watching.
Special Features:Park includes a Least Tern preserve and nesting area and a Bald Eagle nesting area. Also includes the Turkey Mountain Urban Wilderness Area, the only area of the park where horseback riding is permitted. The park is adjacent to the city's River SkatePark.

TULSA The Tulsa River Parks Authority approved an agreement Thursday that will allow the city of Tulsa, River Parks and the Gathering Place to move forward in partnership with the construction of a pedestrian bridge over the Arkansas River.<br />In March 2017, the city initiated a public process to collect conceptual bridge designs for a new Arkansas River pedestrian bridge because the original bridge could not be salvaged due to structural deficiencies.
This plan is next step in completing the 32-mile Manhattan Greenway, and will greatly improve the connection between the Battery and East River Parks, two of the largest open spaces in Lower Manhattan, said Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
