Her proxy in these matters was Biasio Montanuzzi, the agent in Venice of the Archduke of Austria;(58) Montanuzzi later relinquished his duties as proxy; they were assumed by Giacinto Zucchi, a singer at St Mark's who had performed with Renzi in Innsbruck as well as at the Teatro S Apollinare in Eupatra and Le fortune di Rodope e Damira.(59) The documents surrounding Renzi's loan to Riva represent the last known references to her.
Chiusi's next, and last, documented performance in Venice was once again at the Teatro S Apollinare, this time sieging for the impresario Marco Faustini in Cavalli's enormously successful Erismena for the 1655/6 season.(72) But we find her living in Venice in June 1658 when she sought to recover money owed her in Rome.(73) During these years, Chiusi appeared in productions of Ziani's Le fortune di Rodope e Damira (in the role of Rodope) in Bergamo, Milan, Bologna and Turin.(74) Then, on 1 September 1660 and still (or perhaps once gain) in Venice, she lodged a complaint regarding insufficient payment for her services in an opera mounted in Bergamo.
