S3 cloud storage

(Simple Storage Service) Internet-based storage from Amazon.com, which is used for backup and content delivery. Like most cloud computing services, S3 is employed by both large and small software developers and content publishers because its fees are based on the number of bytes downloaded per month. Debuting in 2006, S3 is part of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) family. See EC2, Amazon Glacier and cloud storage.
