Sarh

 

(until 1973, Fort-Archambault), a city in the Republic of Chad. Population, 37,000 (1968). Sarh is linked by road with the cities of Ndjamena and Bangui. Located in a region of cotton plantations, it has cotton-ginning enterprises.
