SGRAM

(Synchronous Graphics RAM) A memory chip that includes enhanced functions for graphics rendering. For example, Block Write is used to fill large areas with a single color, and Mask Write is used to change selected memory locations. Used in graphics DDR (GDDR) memory, SGRAM is single ported and based on SDRAM. See video RAM and SDRAM.
