SNOMED CT

(Systematized Nomenclature Of MEDicine Clinical Terms) A comprehensive classification of medical clinical terminology. Administered by the International Health Terminology Standards Development Organisation (IHTSDO), SNOMED CT contains more than 300,000 numerical medical designations used worldwide by physicians and providers to exchange health information.
