Sahib-Girei

 

Tatar khan of the 16th century.

The brother of the Crimean khan Muhammad Girei I, Sa-hib-Girei became khan of Kazan in 1521, after deposing the Kasimov prince Shah-Ali. After the accession of Safa-Girei in Kazan in 1524, Sahib-Girei lived in Istanbul. He became Crimean khan in 1532 and was killed in 1551 during an internecine conflict.
