Samuil

 

(Samuel). Year of birth unknown; died 1014 in Pri-lep. Ruler of the Kingdom of West Bulgaria from 997 to 1014. Under Samuil, the domestic situation of the kingdom improved, and the kingdom’s territory was considerably expanded.
