GUATEMALA CITY, Dhu-AlQa'dah 13, 1437, August 16, 2016, SPA -- Guatemala's Santiaguito volcano has spouted a plume of ash that rose 16,400 feet (5,000 meters) above sea level and scattered ash into neighboring Mexico, according to AP.
Clashes continued late Sunday outside of Oaxaca city and in the municipalities of San Pablo Huitzo and Santiaguito, where demonstrators set ablaze federal police installations.
Nearby Santiaguito Volcano still has regular eruptions, and on Santa MarA-a you can watch them from a safe distance.
