Selitebnye Zemli

 

(development lands), a category of land designated for the construction of housing, public buildings, industrial enterprises, roads, streets, squares, and the like within the boundaries of cities and urban-type settlements. In current Soviet land legislation, the term “selitebnye zemli” has been replaced by the term “gorodskie zemli” (municipal lands).
