Sempron

AMD's value line of CPU chips, which compete with Intel's Celeron line. Introduced as 32-bit chips in 2004, Semprons initially replaced AMD's Duron CPUs, and the Mobile Sempron was made for laptops. Available today in two- and four-core 64-bit models, the Sempron line designated 1xx are lower-power CPUs, while the 2xx models have higher clock rates. See AMD.

BTN Access, Inc., a worldwide IP telephony provider, has announced that Semperon will begin offering customers advanced IP telephony solutions through Btnaccess' Hosted PBX and PBX Plus solutions.
Btnaccess' hosted technology and services platform will allow Semperon to provide organizations the ability to scale deployment of IP communications, while centrally controlling, managing and supporting their broadband workforce.
