Shargorod

 

an urban-type settlement and the administrative center of Shargorod Raion, Vinnitsa Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. Shargorod is situated on the Murashka River of the Dnestr River basin, 25 km from the Iaroshenka railroad station on the Zhmerinka-Vapniarka line and 125 km southwest of Vinnitsa. The settlement has a wine-making combine and a butter factory.
