Web: byway.hellovalley.com Description:Stretching along the Sheyenne River Valley, byway follows ancient Native American footpaths and pioneer wagon trails, including more than 30 recognized historic sites as well as gold rush and military installations, trails and bridges. Fort Ransom State Park offers opportunities for outdoor recreation, including horseback riding, hiking, canoeing, and cross-country skiing.
Legth: 63 miles. Start/Endpoint: Byway runs from County Road 17 near Baldhill Dam south to Lisbon, North Dakota. Designation/Year: National Scenic Byway (2002).
