Sinegorsk Mineral Springs

 

a balneological health resort in the RSFSR, 21 km northwest of Iuzhno-Sakhalinsk. Summers are moderately warm, with an average August temperature of 17°C, and winters are cold, with an average January temperature of - 19°C. Annual precipitation totals 870 mm.

It is also used by treatment facilities in the city of Dolinsk, where water drinking therapy and therapeutic baths are available for those with diseases of the digestive organs and metabolic disorders.
