Slunchev Briag
a seaside climatic health resort in Bulgaria, on the Black Sea, north of Nesebur. Summers are very warm, with an average July temperature of 23.3°C, and winters are very mild, with an average January temperature of 2.4°C. Precipitation totals 430 mm annually. Therapeutic remedies include sea bathing from mid-June to October, grape cures, and climatotherapy. Slunchev Briag has a sandy beach, which is 300-400 m wide and more than 5 km long. Non-tuberculous illnesses of the respiratory organs and functional disorders of the nervous system are treated at the resort. Slunchev Briag has boarding houses, hotels, and private summer homes.
