Small-Caliber Artillery

 

conventional artillery of calibers of 20-57 mm, designed primarily for firing at tanks, armored personnel carriers, aircraft, and small ships.

Many systems of small-caliber artillery have high muzzle velocities and magazine loading. Firing from automatic small-caliber artillery guns is done in short rounds, whereas for semi-automatic guns it is by single shots.
