Sobinka
a city (since 1939) under oblast jurisdiction and the administrative center of Sobinka Raion, Vladimir Oblast, RSFSR. It is located on the Kliaz’ma River (a tributary of the Oka), 4 km from the Undol railroad station on the Orekhovo-Zuevo-Vladimir line and 37 km southwest of Vladimir. Population, 23,200 (1975). Sobinka has a spinning and weaving factory.
