An umbrella term for communications and collaboration via the Internet. Key concepts are user feedback, multiuser interaction and information sharing. Social computing includes wikis, blogs, user-generated content, multiplayer gaming, Twitter and social networking sites. See social commerce, Web 2.0 and social networking site.
