Microsoft Dynamics SL(redirected from Solomon Software)
Microsoft Dynamics SLA comprehensive set of business applications from Microsoft created by Solomon Software and acquired by Great Plains Software in 2000. Great Plains was then acquired by Microsoft in 2001. Under the Microsoft Dynamics SL brand, modules include business intelligence (BI), business portals, field service management, financials, human resources, manufacturing and supply chain (inventory).
In 1980, Solomon Software was founded as TLB, Inc. (The Lord's Business) by Gary Harpst, Jack Ridge and Vernon Strong to provide accounting software for CP/M-based personal computers. After migrating to the IBM PC, the software became popular in the DOS world in the 1980s, and Solomon IV was released in 1994 for Windows. See Microsoft Dynamics.
