Taurids

(tor -idz) A minor meteor shower with a double radiant, RA 57°, dec +14° and +22°, that maximizes on Nov. 5. The meteoroid stream is associated with Encke's comet.

If you see a bright meteor but its path doesn't seem to track back to a point of origin in Orion, check to see if it's a Southern Taurid. Birthed by Comet 2P/ Encke, the Southern Taurids appear to emanate from a point close to Mu ([mu]) Ceti.

The Southern Taurids --AaAeAeA AaAeAeA famed for its fireballs -- is expe to put on a show this weekend, according to (http://earthsky.org/space/south-north-taurid-fireballs-how-to-watch) EarthSky.
They continue for many weeks, with two parallel components: the Southern Taurids running roughly through October and early November, and the Northern Taurids from late October through mid-November.

It has two distinct portions, the Northern and Southern Taurids, with radiants about 9[degrees] apart.
