Soviet-Malaysian Agreements

 

Diplomatic relations were established between the USSR and Malaysia on Apr. 3, 1967. The countries concluded agreements on trade (Apr. 3, 1967), on air transportation (Nov. 27, 1969), on economic and technical cooperation (Oct. 4, 1972), and on cultural and scientific cooperation (Oct. 4, 1972).

In a joint communique of Oct. 6, 1972, the countries expressed the desire to expand their ties in various fields.
