Sovremennaia Vysshaia Shkola

 

(Contemporary Higher School), an international journal of socialist countries. The journal has been published in Warsaw since 1973. Published in Russian, it includes a brief summary of the articles in English. It comes out four times a year.

Sovremennaia vysshaia shkola is directed by an editorial board that includes representatives from Bulgaria, Hungary, the German Democratic Republic, Cuba, the Mongolian People’s Republic, Poland, the USSR, and Czechoslovakia. The journal deals with higher education, the improvement of educational methods, prediction of the development and economics of higher education, research work, and advanced training of specialists. Sovremennaia vysshaia shkola publishes reviews and bibliographical surveys. Circulation, 3,800 (1975).
