Location:7 miles north of Vernal, just off State Highway 191.
Facilities:29 campsites, group camp, modern restrooms (é), picnic areas, group pavilions, swimming beach, boat ramp.
Activities:Camping, boating, fishing, swimming, water-skiing, ice fishing.
Special Features:In addition to its water recreation attractions, park is a popular base for exploring nearby Dinosaurland or Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area. Park is also a site where relics once found in ancient seas such as oysters, clams, and other shellfish can be found.

While water levels will remain low throughout construction, Steinaker State Park will remain open with a variety of recreational opportunities.

Site 1 is located on rangeland managed by the United States Bureau of Land Management; site 2 is protected from grazing within the boundaries of Steinaker State Park. Cattle rarely damage plants by trampling, and they do not usually forage on them.
