Stop-Cylinder Press

 

a cylinder press in which the cylinder makes a full rotation when the bed makes its printing stroke and stops during the return stroke. The operating speeds of such machines vary from 2,000 cycles per hr for semiautomatic machines to 5,500 cycles per hr’for automatic machines.
