Submerged Intestinal Bath

 

the washing out of the intestine by special apparatus in a warm water bath. Various medicinal solutions are used in submerged intestinal baths, depending on the indications, and natural mineral waters are used in health resorts. Such baths are used to cure certain diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, and biliary ducts.
