Sudoma Upland

 

an upland in Pskov Oblast, RSFSR, south of the city of Porkhov. It has elevations to 294 m. The terrain is hilly. The base of the upland is composed of Devonian rocks, such as sandstones and marls, overlain by morainic loams and sands. The area has many shallow lakes, as well as southern taiga fir forests and pine and small-leaved forests.
