Sulfaethidole

 

(Russian trade name, Etazol), a medicinal agent of the class of sulfanilamide preparations. Sulfaethidole is rapidly absorbed and is discharged mainly with the urine. It is usually taken internally in the form of powders and tablets in cases of infectious diseases, such as tonsillitis, pneumonia, pyelitis, and cystitis.
