ABC is a computing paradigm that has been applied in personal information-management applications as well as in ubiquitous, multidevice, and interactive surface computing. ABC has emerged as a response to the traditional application-and file-centered computing paradigm, which is oblivious to a notion of a user's activity spanning heterogeneous devices, multiple applications, services, and information sources.
According to (http://microsoft-news.com/microsoft-surface-pro-3-to-be-available-in-26-additional-markets-by-end-of-august/) Panos Panay , corporate vice president for Surface Computing at Microsoft, all new devices were available and confirmed that other versions will hit the shelves from the start of August.
This "adapts the keyboard to the user's unique typing motion paths" governed by their different physical finger anatomies, which suggests the idea being used in both touchscreen and projected "surface computing" displays, IBM said.
The new screen technology is apparently a "major step forward in the surface computing category", and manages to incorporate the original aims of original Surface product (direct interaction, multi-touch contact, a multi-user experience, and object recognition), endowing it with the ability to recognize fingers, hands, text, and even objects, as well as giving it a more flexible form factor.
These two aspects of the Discovery Table, while diverging from the ideal of multi-user surface computing, do have the advantage that the experience can be shared by remote users through their web browsers.
