Established: 1975. Description:Dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of historic Surratt House. Assists the Maryland Park and Planning Commission in the preservation and interpretation of the Surratt House and Tavern. Encourages ongoing research into the role that this site played in the story surrounding the assassination of Abraham Lincoln and into 19th century culture. Members: 1,200. Dues: $7/year.
