Tachikawa

(tächē`käwə), city (1990 pop. 152,824), Tokyo Metropolis, E central Honshu, Japan. A commercial center and railway hub, it is an industrial suburb of Tokyo.

'Saint Young Men (Saint Onii-san)' is a popular long-running manga series that features Jesus Christ and Gautama Buddha living out a meager existence in suburban Tachikawa, Tokyo.
