In case C, the total number of control bits is k = 18 (4 bits on TAG RAM and 14 bits on Data RAM), and total number of used bits in this case is 153.
For this reason we have implemented a cache with the redundant part introduced on the data part and two implementations with the redundant part introduced both on the Data RAM and on the TAG RAM.
The EZ cache mode operation reduces system cost and complexity by enabling the RM7000C to quickly access the off-chip L3 cache without the need for Tag RAMs.
2] goes high, data from state registers (whose outputs must not have changed yet) go to tag RAMs again, and a read occurs, followed by a return from the RAMs to the state registers.
