Tank Driving Range

area of terrain set apart to teach the driving of tanks and other tracked combat vehicles. An area with varied relief and water barriers is chosen for the tank driving range. Routes are laid out along a closed contour up to 2.5 km long and are planned so that the basic exercises of the tank driving course can be run through. Targets are set up in various sectors and the necessary landmarks are positioned. A command post is set up, and classrooms are built for training. The tank driving range is equipped with the necessary means and automatic control systems to plot the location of the tanks and to maintain constant communications with them.
