an urban-type settlement in Nadezhdinskoe Raion, Primor’e Krai, RSFSR. Situated on Amur Bay. Railroad station. Population, 10,800 (1975). Coal is mined in the vicinity of Tavrichanka. The settlement has a fur-farming sovkhoz.
