Tebza

 

a river in Kostroma Oblast, RSFSR; a left tributary of the Kostroma River of the Volga River basin. The Tebza is 140 km long and drains an area of 1,160 sq km. It is fed mainly by snow. The mean flow rate 34 km from the mouth is 8.54 cu m per sec. The river freezes in November or early December and opens up in April.
