Tekle-Tsadik Mekuria


Born 1914. Ethiopian historian.

Tekle-Tsadik Mekuria served in the Ministry of Civil Service and Pensions from 1957 to 1959 and later directed the National Library in Addis Ababa. He was in the diplomatic service from 1960 to 1968 and served as minister of cultural affairs in 1974 and 1975. His works deal with the ancient, medieval, modern, and contemporary history of Ethiopia and with the ancient history of Nubia.
