an urban-type settlement in Tiul’kubas Raion, Chimkent Oblast, Kazakh SSR. Railroad station on the Chimkent-Dzhambul line, 89 km northeast of Chimkent. Population, 9,700 (1975). Tiul’kubas has a cannery and a maize-grading plant, as well as a lime and an asphalt factory.
