Location:1 mile south of Del Mar on North Torrey Pines Road.
Facilities:Beach, picnic areas, restrooms (é).
Activities:Fishing, swimming, surfing, beachcombing, hiking.
Special Features:This wide, sandy beach stretches 4.5 miles from Del Mar past Los Peñasquitos Lagoon to the base of sandstone cliffs at Torrey Pines Mesa. The beach can also be reached by trail from Torrey Pines State Reserve (see separate entry).
